S is for school spirit!
School spirit was in full swing the week of January 27-31!
P is for party streamers.
Party streamers and balloons in OCCS colors greeted the middle school students on Monday
I is for ingenuity.
The OCCS middle schoolers showed off their creativity on Tuesday by dressing in different characters. 
R is for red, white, and blue.
The 8th graders celebrated class choice day dressed in their best red, white, and blue gear. 
I is for Iowa/Iowa State
On class choice day, the 5th graders wore sports gear and there were many Hawkeye and Cyclone fans roaming the halls. 
T is for twin day. 
On Tuesday, we were seeing double (or triple). 
W is for wacky.
There were some wacky outfits on Monday with crazy day!
E is for eclectic. 
Thursday was class choice day and there were a variety of clothing choices. 5th graders had sports day; 6th grade choose occupations as their theme. The 7th graders went with stereotypes and old people. The 8th graders showed off their American pride. 
E is for excitement!
Spirit week brings a lot of excitement to the middle school. Laughter was heard throughout the halls often this week. 
K is for king. 
Each day, we were able to dress up as something different than ourselves. While that is fun and exciting, we need to remember that our king, made us each unique and we are who we are for a purpose.

Wednesday: Twin Day.
